An international concept.
Our company has developed a completely new type of business model – an international concept, which aims to internationalize Finnish and European small- and medium-sized-, as well as large consumer product companies to export their products to the East- and West Asian markets, which are challenging markets for individual SMEs, nor are they easy markets for the largest players. Our business model is completely new and innovative when it comes to promoting the internationalization of Finnish products in the field of B2C e-commerce. Additionally, we also provide import services for European and Middle Eastern companies that need access to China’s manufacturing industry.
Uniting Cultures Since 2021
EMT started its active operations in the autumn of 2021 with the registered name Export Maker Trading Ltd. Our international headquarters and interim warehouse are located in Finland, complemented with a China operational hub in Beijing. The story of EMT started already in 2013 through a consulting company “Export Maker Ltd”, which is the largest consulting company in Finland to help and support other companies in international growth. Hence the founder team has tens of years of experience in international business and trading. We started our trading from China, but now our main markets are elsewhere already.
Just during the first operational year, EMT has sold hundreds of thousands of product through its Chinese distribution channels and e-commerce shops. Our next steps are to open the trading channels to GCC countries and to South-East Asian markets. We will have local hubs and teams in all of the main market areas and we will start to import products to Europe as well.

Expanding Export Opportunities with EU Funding
Export Maker Trading has secured EU funding for its project titled “Cross border digital business as a promoter of Finnish producer companies’ export.” This initiative aims to introduce a groundbreaking approach to internationalization for Nordic producer companies engaged in cross-border e-commerce. By addressing the challenges faced by SMEs in accessing the Asian market, the project will pave the way for new opportunities and streamlined processes.
Moreover, our logistics strategy prioritizes environmental sustainability, with plans in place to minimize carbon emissions and establish a timeline for achieving carbon-neutral transportation.
