and Ethical Business Practices
Responsible sourcing and emissions reporting.
At Export Maker Trading, responsibility means full transparency in all our imports – regardless of the country of manufacture or supplier. We always know where the materials in our products come from, and we ensure that each supplier complies with EU and international quality, environmental and responsibility requirements.
Export Maker Trading Oy performs quarterly CBAM reporting for all products covered by the EU CBAM regulation and is an authorized CBAM notifier. This ensures that the carbon emissions and supply chains of our imports are reported transparently and in accordance with EU regulations.
Our operations are based on responsible sourcing, traceability and open reporting, so that we can guarantee our customers high-quality, ethically and environmentally responsible products.
We require the following documents for all deliveries, regardless of the country of manufacture:
- Certificate of Origin – a certificate of origin that indicates the country of origin of the product and material.
- Mill Test Certificate – a production test certificate that ensures the quality and composition of the material.
- Non-Russian Declaration – confirmation that the product or its raw materials are not of Russian origin.
- CE- ja ISO-sertifikaatit – evidence of the quality management and responsibility systems of the production facility.

- We monitor energy consumption, emissions and waste.
Reporting channel and the principle of intervention.
We encourage you to report ethical concerns (also anonymously). We treat reports confidentially and there is no retaliation.
Code of Conduct.
We publish and update a Code of Conduct that compiles the principles and practices mentioned above.
